Batman and Robin relationship seems very gay, like romantic, they live together, Batman saves Robin many times when Robin is helpless, and tied up, like in romantic fairy-tales, about princesses.
Why they didn't just made Robin a girl, instead of a guy, especially in the 50-ies, when whole gay thing was controversial?
