Serious question for vegans on a bodybuilding cutting diet (if there are any)?

How do you get into a ketogenic state without getting most of your calories from lean meat, whey protein and/or eggs? Unless there's something I don't understand about a vegan diet (if so, then please correct me), it's pretty much impossible for vegans to cut since everything you eat has a lot of complex carbs in it.

Just asking because I'm genuinely interested, I'm not trying to take a shot at vegans.

i assume your trying to lose right. the ketogenic (low carb) way of losing weight is one way to do it. i wouldn't recommend it though. i would cut by eating a normal protein, fats, carbs diet, but avoid carbs for 2 hours before exercise so the insulin doesn't get in the way of lipolysis
