Which video player is better among VLC, KM player, DIVX player,

QuickTime player, Window Media palyer...? i usually watch videos in mp4, mkv or flv format, so i wanna know which video player can run my videos on my laptop {core i5, 1gb radeon} better and at highest quality possible.... vlc audio stuck at palces, any suggestions??

Is there any way to play HD videos with vlc without getting stuck and at the optimal video and sound quality??

It plays anything!!!!!
Nearly every media format!!!!!!
Window Media Player has a lot of animations and hence sometimes hangs/crashes.
But VLC is simple but very useful player.
It can also stream videos direcly from internet.
