Should I send My Daughter to a Boarding School?

My daughter has been going through a very rough time. Her father has had cancer for almost 4 years. This last year has hit her very hard. Her grades are dropped very very low. A once straight A student, is not having problems even getting a low C. She has been having a lot of anger problems as well. Sudden blowups at little things, and she's also getting in fights with one of her teachers.
She's been telling me she hasn't been sleeping very well, 1-2 hours a night at most. Her brother also has just moved out, and i thing she's very upset about it.
I believe she's depressed, and she's talked to a counciler but it didn't do much besides hide how she's feelings even more.
I've been doing a little research on boarding schools that specialize in emotionally troubled teens, but I'm not quite sure if that's what she needs.
An outsiders opinion on this situation would be greatly excepted.
It'd also help if any of you could suggest any good schools that would be good for my daughter, if i decide to send her to one.

Any by Wyoming, would be helpful so we would be able to drive out to see her, but other states boardering would be fine as well.
I'd like it to be co-ed, considering she has better luck being friends with guys then girls, sense she's a major Tom Girl. But an all girl one would be okay.
