I've just built my custom PC and do not have enough money for the OS! I have a torrent downloading for Windows at the moment but I'm just wondering if this is a good idea. Has anyone had any problems with torrenting windows?

Cheers.

Well I don't support this but there's programs that will block the activation process and will run windows good. So go ahead. I just do t support it.

Is it wise to download a possible virus or malware ridden file too,
as an extra bonus?

Be careful you're NOT reported for asking a question like this.

As already posted, use one of the free and legal - repeat LEGAL,
systems already suggested.

STOP...
what you are downloading could be riddled
with hidden keylogger or malware of some kind.

Why not install Windows 8 Release Preview for free whilst you save up. Rumour has it that Microsoft are going to include users of this OS as well as Vista and 7 when they offer an upgrade to the final release version at a heavily discounted price.
