I drive a manual '91 Subaru legacy GX, and it's making a whining noise. When it's idling it's fine but inbetween 2000-3000rpm it'll whine. It may whine after but the engine would drown it out. Anyway, it's not too loud, if I got music 'ya can't hear it. But kind of curious as to what it is, so yeah..anyone able to help?

sounds like sticky valves I had the same problem take it to a mechanic
