I need to know if it's possible to hook a computer (specifically a macbook pro) to a Sylvania 6620ldf 20 inch lcd tv/dvd combo.
The TV has component inputs, and I have a video to vga adapter for my mac, I also have a vga to component cable. Theoretically this should work (it has before on other tv's) but when I plug it in the screen is all pink and green and scrambled. It changes when I change the dimensions on my mac's video output settings but never actually seems to work.
Anyone know how it's possible to hook my mac to this tv? Or if they get a similar reaction a possible general fix?
