What are some obscure musicals/musicals with funny or interesting topics?

I've recently found out about some lesser known musicals like "It's A Bird... It's A Plane... It's Superman", "Holy Musical B@man", "Silence! - The Musical", and "Triassic Parq". What other musicals have you heard of that are either really out there or just about fairly humorous things?

    Bat Boy
    Evil Dead: The Musical
    Toxic Avenger
    Zanna, Don't!
    bare: A Pop Opera
    The Wild Party
    Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Those are just some I could think of. Not exactly sure if these are all what you were looking for, but I hope I helped somewhat.

Since you know "Holy Musical B@man" I'd assume you'd know their other shows: "A Very Potter Musical," "A Very Potter Sequel," "Starship," and "Me an My Dick."

Also, "Potter Potter," and "Forbidden Broadway," are lesser known parody shows.

I LOVE Starkid. I got to see them live once...it was fantastic.

One of my favourite musicals is Ruthless the Musical. It is about an ambitious 8 year old, Tina, who is determined to become a star - no matter what. She auditions for her school play, but loses the lead role to an untalented girl who hates acting and is only in the play because her mother is big in the parent council. Tina is made the understudy to Louise, and decides that she simply cannot STAND not being the star. She knows that she will get to play Pippi if, for some reason, Louise can't perform...like, if she was dead. How convenient that Louise just HAPPENS to hang herself with Tina's jump rope the day of the show...

It's basically a parody of Gypsy and Mame, and is very, very funny, but not especially well known. It is actually an Off-Broadway show. Laura Bell Bundy originated the role of Tina, and Britney Spears was her understudy in the original cast.
