I need to take the fuel tank out to get to the fuel pump. How do you disconnect the quick disconnects on a 1999 GMC Jimmy? There are two different types.

There are special tools made for fuel line connectors.
Make sure you get a quality tool. Cheap tools could give you a lot of grief.
Edit: Some connectors don't need specials tools. Some do.
I use this tool for my Ford. You may need a different tool for GM.
