boot up...? then the screen goes black... says "operating system not found"... doesn't sound good to me... but what do you think? and where, if anywhere, can we buy a new "tower" with windows xp OS ?

um, you could just go to walmart or bestbuy and get a windows xp cd , $100, and install xp on the computer.
