Can I put an iphone 3G on Telus pay as you go?

My uncle doesn't want his old iphone 3G anymore (he updated to the latest) and he was gonna give me his old one, currently i have a pay as you go phone from telus and i`d really like to stay pay as you go. Is it possible to make the iphone pay as you go (prepaid)?
 
If you want to use iPhone 3G on Telus means,Your phone should be unlocked one.
