when something like this takes so little?
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_18285_Boss_Audio_CH15.aspx

I mean a 6" and 15" needing the same amount of power? just didn't sound right to me....
I'm looking into one of those 6's also.... havent heard much about them thou, feedback?

Boss acoustics are often found in High end car manufacturers or factory upgrades because they make very good, very clean sounding amps and speakers.
Pyle is crap...
NEED is a strong word... think of it as "can handle"
and all it really takes is a big heavy magnet with lots of coils.
what you really want is an efficient speaker. Efficient speakers often sound much better. a lighter coil can often produce good results because the speaker can quickly change direction due to less inertia, which therefor produce a better replication of the sign wave.

Boss and pyle areyou swampmeet brands... you will also notice that the price on them are low

Boss is inaccurate with ratings and pyle is awful

Ive heard some bosses sound ok ..... pyle is comeplete junk
