.....Can animals laugh?......?

I THINK my cat tried to laugh today...I put a cotton ball on her head and she didn't know it was there...after a few minutes she moved her head and it landed in front of her and she was startled for a few seconds...and then I Burst out in laughter...My cat saw me and my reaction and then opened her mouth and made like loud breathing noises like she was Trying to laugh?
