Do you think this is somewhat of a very slight progress for the LGBT community. I mean, it's from a Disney company so frankly I'm impressed. The story wasn't exactly about being gay or anything, it was more about the issues of online bullying. But they had a gay character who was getting bullied online by a guy he believed that liked him. Also, there was this lesbian subtext between Emily Osment and Kay Panabaker. Well actually, Emily Osment's character liked a guy, but Kay Panabaker's character was evidently jealous of that guy. Well you have to see it if you don't want any further spoiler lol

What do you think? Progress or meh?
Um.. Abc is affiliated with Disney...
I'm not saying it's a 'progress' for LGBT in general lol I'm aware it's been in the media for years now. It's just I never would have expected Disney to have any doings regarding LGBT related considering its known as a conservative "family" show, you know?

I'm used to seeing LGBT related stuff on MTV or teen nick maybe... not Disney.
