Ok so i have a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse gs. 5spd manuel. non-turbo.And my problem is when i start the car it just dies. and then starts again with no problem and then dies and over and over again. sometimes it starts normally and drives perfect with no issue and then when i turn it off let it stand for couple minutes then start it...it goes back to dying again. its like it dosent have any gas or something... but it does. also when it start and about to die i give it a little gas and its ok then dies right after i let go of gas.
my solution was changing the fuel filter.. i did... it got ALOT better but still sometimes dies...
so i was thing is it the fuel pump.... i dunno wanna buy it until i know for sure cause it costs 129.99 dollar.
if you had same thing with other cars plz tell me your solution or if you know whats wrong your answer will be appreciated.. thank ou very much..
