When I inserted the AVI video files into the queue to be converted, it doesn't say which video format the files will be converted to.. Will they be MPEG or WMV?

What file format does Divx Converter convert your video files to?

Huh? Is this a trick question? It converts your "video format to a DivX file". You do know that DivX file types end in .avi right? Hence they are AVI files.
Though you can "Back up your home-made DVDs and fit a whole movie onto one CD using the optional MPEG-2/DVD Plug-in" in which case the video file will either be MPEG-2 or DVD format.
Don't know how you expect DivX to convert to WMV!
