    My Toshiba windows vista laptop won't start it just says bootmgr is missing

    press ctrl alt delete to restart? anyone know of any ideas what is going on? i just used the recovery disc to restore to factory setting i dont know whats gone wrong at this point.

    This same thing happened to me a few years ago. I just repeated the System Recovery and everything was okay the second time around. That's what I'd do if I were you.

    Try using the restore disk again to see if it works
