Best Family Size SUV, 7 or more passanger?

Hi, we are gonna be having a new baby soon, so I wanted to know which is the best deal/value suv out there for 7 passenger or more.

We definitely want fuel economy, but not necessary hybrid

    We want good quality

Have been considering a Honda Pilot, probably because it's one of the popular ones.

We want a newer SUV also.

If you want fuel economy in a 7 passenger vehicle why are you looking at SUV's? SUV's are for people with a small penis. A minivan will seat 7 people and their gear in much greater comfort and practicality while returning significantly better fuel economy.

The Honda Pilot for example is rated at 17 mpg city, 23 mpg highway by the EPA.

The Honda Odyssey with the same engine is rated at 19 city, 28 mpg highway.

The Odyssey also accelerates much better, handles much better and stops much better making it the safer choice.
