Ac/heater only throws out air from the vents, no defrost?

the defrost on the windshield does not work? i put it on the feet and or defrost, only throws out thru the middle vents.

I'm not sure what you car uses to switch the inner flaps, but it is usually vacuum. Maybe the hose came off or there is something wrong with the control. I could probably find it if I could look under your dash on the duct work, but I can't.

Perhaps someone else will know, but you should list make, model and year.
