Does starting martial arts at a late age put a 'ceiling' in your ability...

...to master it? This may be a frequent question...

I know that it is said that you will get out of it what you put into it -totally agree. However, there are also realities. I've been thinking about taking up Judo for some time now and may do it. I turned 22 last week, though, and while I've no doubt that if I work at it I'll learn, will my age prevent me from entirely and 'fluently' getting it like someone who started at age 7?

Not at all. Anyone can learn martial arts at any age. As long as your healthy enough. It doesn't put a ceiling on your ability to master it
