Why do people start smoking?

anything and everything can kill you, food, driving, crossing the street and getting run over...etc...

I started to fit in
everyone was doing it and I didn't want people to say this guys a square....I was 14

I'm 19 now and have realized how bad it really is
really hard to quit

It's a combination of things, Advertising is appealing to young teens and adults, because they feed you a false reality. if you smoke than suddenly you're cool. Some people smoke under peer pressure or just stress from life.
