Can you use a telus phone with fido?

My boyfriends phone broke, and I was gonna give him one of my old phones. He is with Fido and the old phone I was going to give him is a telus phone. Can this work?

you need to unlock your mobile phone from Telus network to use other network.BUt telus is CDMA Network,fido is GSM Network.You can unlock it using the unlock code.Visit the site Unlocking4free.com get unlock code at free of cost for old phones and unlock it from Telus network.But he cannot use fido .After unlock CDMA Network locked phone,ha can use only CDMA Network only.Fido is GSM Network so can't be used with an unlocked CDMA mobile phone.
