"iOS Files" Folder on my iMac? What to do with it?

Hello! Ok my desktop was such a mess, I had to organize all my files again and put them in the correct places. And now I'm stuck with the last folder on my desktop which is called "iOS Files". And I have absolutely no idea where it comes from, what it is, or what to do with it. I'm afraid of deleting it because it might mess up my computer even more. I've had this iMac since beginning of september. What shall I do with this folder now?

I'm running Lion on it. It's a 27" iMac, basically brand new.

Yeah that's right I have an iPhone! Do you think I can delete this folder? Or is it not a good idea?

Do you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? That might be what it's from. iOS is the software that runs those devices.
