Why can't I watch more football on Sunday afternoons?

The Niners play on Sunday morning. The Point After comes on at 1pm, preventing me from watching amazing games that follow. Instead, Im forced to switch over to watch the Raiders and prevent my dry heaving.

What is the justification for this, having a post-game show while there is still football on to watch?

If a local team is being shown on TV, NFL regs prevent the other network from showing a competing game at the same time. Been that way for decades. I'd rather be watching something else too, but at least we held on against the Redskins.
