I have an older style Orion TV that only has the cable hook up in the back. There is no hook up for the audio video cords and I'm wondering how I get my DVD player to work.
I tried hooking the cable to a cable box from previous home and then hooking DVD player to to it but still no picture or sound?

perhaps your tv has a SCART plug if so use the SCART-AV adapter that came with the DVD/XBOX
