So i have a Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2003 and its an automatic. I was wondering if there was a way to make it 5 speed. I looked all over and cant seem to find a manual tranny for this car. Maybe from an older model?
Forget it. The engine and transmission, and all the elements that are part of the powertrain such as the computer, are all designed to work together. It would be a major engineering job to change it to a manual, if you could find one that would fit. There are a million other parts you would need.
