My sister did this in face of office gossip?

People in the office believe my sister is in love with this terrific guy. It is true. My sister knows what people are saying. My sister wanted to forward an email to the office workers on his behalf to update everyone on the new policy for document delivery. The coworkers got the email but felt unco,fortable because my sister sent it out even though it is appropriate for her position. People felt uncomfortable because of the office gossip. The guy and my sister did not have a problem but everyone else did. My sister asked me for my opinion. I thought in light of the gossip, my sister is not dumping the guy ecause of office gossip and they are standing strong together. What do you think? This is a rare email from her on his behalf. Someone aleady asked her why did you semd it.
