Raised up several Virginia tobacco plants until they produced seed pods at 7 months, waited for them to brown long after the blooms fell off. Pinched the ends of a few pods and removed several of seeds from pods and replanted by sprinkling on surface of moist fertile soil. After 11 days only had 2 that sprouted out of about 700 seeds.... My guess is the hulls are too tough... what can i do to get better results on my germination rate?
