How many miles per gallon for 1.4 petrol saloon 2002/2003 vauxhall astra? Need to know as I am interested in getting this car but don't know the mpg. Would be happy if it was over 40 mpg but I do not know as I can't find the answer anywhere. Thanks peeps

Depends how and where you drive it. Unlikely to see 40mpg in town driving but should do that on longer trips.

I have a 1.6 which will do comfortable 300 miles on 35 litres
