which function of Canon SX30 for taking pictures from moving car?

I'm going to a trip with my friends with bus and I want to take photos from the moving bus... which function do you prefer ?

sports function taking 2mpx shots :|

If you have control over your shutter speed set it to 1/500. If not you'll get blur.

I'd be learning to use aperture/shutter feature. Set shutter speed to 1/500 second or 1/1000 sec.
