I will not be teaching my kids any religion whatsoever. I will be teaching them to think for themselves and to be rational. To listen to both sides and not point fingers.
which do/will you teach your kids?
I was honest with my daughter - exposing lies in the bible and in what she was learning about American History in school. I then showed her how she doesn't have to blindly follow the blind. Peer pressure can be a powerful motivator that she did not have to bow to.
Indoctrination is a powerful thing. Critical thinking skills are essential to living a quality life.
I will teach them about religions, but never will I ask them to prescribe to one.
That is their decision, something many Christian parents don't seem to understand.
