"A disk read error occured, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"?

Can someone help me fix this? I kept restarting it but it still came up with that same black page with the words. My laptop is a Sony Vaio Window 7 Home Premium. Also I am unable to access safe mode, I've tried pressing everything, help please!

BIOS Version is: R0300y8, if that helps at all

Use the built in system recovery to fix the corrupt operating system start up files. Press F8 repeatedly at start up to enter start options.
