Hi, I'm a 5'3 female. I've been exercising (walking) 5 times a week for 40 minutes for the last year, and am in pretty good shape. However, due to time constraints, I would like to cut down the amount of days I have to get up and do my regimen. However, I want to still total to the same amount of exercise (in minutes) each week. So, I decided to just exercise 4 times a week for 50 minutes, instead of the 5 times for 40 minutes. The extra 10 minutes on the end of each workout totals 40 minutes to make up for the last day.

My question is: Will this work? Is this workout still just as beneficial to my body/weight loss? Which is more important--frequency or duration?

Thanks!
