Can I upgrade my Blackberry storm 2 9550 to OS 6?

I have the 9550 blackberry storm 2 version v5.0.0.1015 and I was wondering if there's anyway to upgrade to OS 6. Please help. I keep running into dead ends when I check on google so that's why I'm asking you all. Many thanks!

OS 6 has not been (and probably never will be) officially released for the 9550.

First of all the easiest way is install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager from their site:
http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
Connect it to your laptop of tower using the Mini USB cable something like this

Then connect it First Backup you files thats easy then when you run that if there is an update the program will ask you if you want to up the system.....YET ask your provider that supports your BB and see if they will support the latest update as some of them are not and then you'll have to backdate......
