...sidewalk or ground, why sniff? Often times, I walk around my neighborhood and see owners walk their dogs; and I notice dogs stop and start sniffing the ground, sidewalk, trees, grass etc... So the owners are forced to stop and wait for their dogs to finish sniffing the ground and so on. There is nothing on the ground, but dogs sniff so attentively. Why?
