Alright, so I was being such an idiot, i updated my phone without knowing anything, now it's locked on emergency screen.
Any help would be REALLY appreicated!!

How do you unlock a locked iphone 3G iso 4.1?

I think you got a temporary unlock. So when you update your phone it got network locked again. Therefore I suggest you get a permanent unlock .
If you want a permanent unlock for your iPhone 3G I recommend one online website, Unlocking4u.com . They will unlock it remotely.
