Track meet tomorrow...?

So tomorrow (Monday) at school we're running the mile in P.E. I have P.E later in the day, and I also have a track meet right after school. So about 45 minutes before we get on the bus to go to the track meet, I'll have to run a mile. And I'm a sprinter, so it might be kind of hard for me to recover that quickly. I feel like I won't be able to give it everything I have, because I'll be tired from the mile. What do you suggest? How can I recover quickly and not be so tired?

Track is a school event for me, as well as 20-30 other girls. So I don't think I'll be able to get out of it. I'll be running the sprint medley, and the 4x200.
