I don't know what the outcome was on the truckers' strike, but I think that all Americans should parade down their streets to their state capital with signs and rally against these high gas prices and flood emails to senators, governors, and representatives as well. I think that we need answers.
It did not do anything because the only truckers involved were those that are independant. Big trucking companies had nothing to do with it.
They actually made this whole situation worse! Now that the truck drivers are striking, food costs are increasing because it will cost more to find people who will deliver the food and perishables. It ties in with the supply and demand concept. When there are more apples available, they are at a low cost. But when there is a limited quantity, they are at a higher cost because they are very rare.
