...source to find them in my area? (DC)? I am looking to purchase a foreclosed home in the DC area (DC/MD/NOVA) and am wondering what the benefits and downfalls are. Should I use a Realtor or can I go to banks and ask for a list of foreclosed homes? What are things that I should look for and avoid to make sure I am not being taken? Any and all advice and tips are greatly appreciated.
