I have a 2003 Yamaha TT-R225. I am considering installing a kit to make it street legal. I was wandering if dual sport bikes are more suited for the road or if they are just dirt bikes with street legal lights.
What's the over-all cost of your conversion?
Time, 'kit' and all?
And you better check with your local DMV to see if that 'kit' will let you pass into the street-legal status.
If in Calif. forget it!
