was the iPhone 3 the first ever iPhone ?

It was just called the iPhone, but I have dubbed it the O.G. iPhone.

Ok so il be nice and explain to you the iphone generation.

So there was first, the iPhone! which was launched in 2007 - the first ever iPhone!

Then after apple thought that there was something missing in the iPhone so in 2008 they created a newer iphone called "the iPhone 3G" which obviously was 3G, This became the 2nd iPhone

then steve jobs was thinking again that there is yet something missing in the iPhone 3G, so in 2009 apple created yet another iPhone called "iPhone 3GS" and all they did was increase the 3G surfing speed, hence the need for "S" after 3G. This became the third iPhone

After such wonderful creations, Steve jobs was still not pleased so then again he sat down and thought, and then in 2010 he created the "iPhone 4". This is the 4th iphone ever created

Now Steve Jobs is thinking about again launching a 5th iPhone called iPhone 5 maybe?

By the way steve jobs is the CEO of Apple Inc. if you did not know that.
