I have an iphone 3gs that WAS locked to rogers, and now its unlocked. will getting a new telus sim card work on it?

If your mobile is unlocked then you can insert any network in the phone.

Once the phone is unlocked it can be used with other GSM networks. Recently, I used the permanent unlock service from Theunlockarena.com to unlock my iPhone 3GS after which I was able to swap to other GSM networks easily.
