Yes, he was one of our most beloved presidents along with JFK, FDR, and Teddy Roosevelt.
The reason why he is so admired is because of his honesty and how he brought the country back together during the Civil War, and even though he never got the chance to begin Reconstruction it is said that he would have succeeded because his plans were reasonable and that those plans would have worked for the people since they did not favor either the North or the South.
