just bought xbox hubby wants to return it for play station people are telling him it is better because you can watch blue ray on play station

No, you can't play blu ray on the xbox 360. The xbox 360 can only play dvd's, which it up converts to a higher quality. I would recommend a PS3 to the 360 as it can play blu ray.
