DISH NETWORK problem? None of us have an idea why this is happening, but the place where we live which gets cable through DISH NETWORK in the building, have had ABC channel blocked for nearly a month now. Having had regular TV and normal cable in previous years, this about DISH NETWORK is difficult to understand. We do notice that it has blocked channels periodically for months at end, having started by blocking FOX regular local channel for a couple weeks, and afterward for about three months. That was followed by UNIVISION been blocked for at least a week, then NBC local channel, then a local hispanic channel which has a lot of talk shows and programs similar to Jay Leno's.

Now, finally they've taken off ABC, precisely in the month they broadcast the Academy Awards, which they did similar for another important yearly program in another channel.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It is ironic, because though DISH NETWORK is supposed to be for cable, there's no way anyone can see the regular, local channels_which people would be able to watch if DISH NETWORK wasn't the server. I also heard two months ago that DISH NETWORK had been taken to court over similar problem in New York over Fox Cable; coincidentally two days after wards Fox local channel was back on here in Miami.
