    Structure of biological presentations?

I'm doing my first presentation of research findings at a biological conference soon. My advisor has given me very little to work with for the presentation. I was wondering, from all you veteran bio people out there, what is the proper structure for a presentation? Should I structure it like I would a paper (introduction, methods, results, discussion)? Or is it supposed to be different? Thanks

    Structure of biological presentations?

Does it differ in any respect from a paper? If not, use the same structure that you would use for the paper. Use lots of visual aids, such as a Powerpoint presentation. That will help to keep your auditors awake. Don't laugh; after lunch, there is a tendency for people to doze off, especially in a warm room.Good luck.
