iphone unlocking problem 10 points!!?

hello i have an iphone 2g i think i managed to upgrade it to 3.1.2 but its stuck on the emergency call screen i have been searching on the internet for 13 hours downloaded a lot of programs none of them seemed to work. the program that i can only succeed with a little bit is redsnow i do everything right but when it gets it downloading jailbreak data it just gets stuck there after 10-20 mins it goes back to emergency call screen please help me!!!!!!! and i dont have the original sim so please hep me!!

i have ziphone 2.0 2.5 and 3.0 none of them work i used winpwn that didn't work i have restored 4 times and tried to jailbreak/unlock 5 times i also think redsnow isnt working because thats what i used to previously jailbreak before updating =(
