What is the best thing to use to clean a laptop screen?

I have an Advent 7104 and the screen is messy. I've tried screen wipes and cloths and it's still dirty. Any suggestions?

A damp cloth and a sprinkle of soap powder and wipe it clean with a dry cotton cloth. Don't mess around with now a days chemical liquids. I had bought a 3M brand cloth made of micro fiber it cleans good on crystals. Avoid alcohol content cleaning liquids. This will erase printed logo brands. Depends on the dirt that has stick on your screens.
