can you smoke cigarette tobacco with a bong?

I accidentally broke one of my cigarettes, and wanted to know if I could use that tobacco to smoke with a bong or pipe.

I would recommend using the pipe.

Of course you can. People smoke tobacco in water pipes all the time. It's terribly common in most Middle Eastern countries and it's gotten to be a fad in the US.

yeah that's actually what the original intention of a bong was, to be used to smoke tobacco. that's why it's legal to sell bongs, because they're "tobacco pipes". But beware, the water serves as a filter and cigarette tobacco wont be as potent as straight tobacco, so you wont get as much as a buzz
