would you humor me my thoughts are jumbled?

    On the general principle
    of survival,
    we should welcome
    discomfort as a friend.
    Seeing grief as revival
    pushing us to comprehend.
    Words in life
    are tricky things
    not always meaning
    what they say,

    and hearing we don't
    always listen
    and we spoil
    with soft decay.
